Oh, I'm not an expert BTW so I have a year to make it from Youtube tutorials and free software xD, so it can't be a full fledged videogame. Should be kind of simple to demonstrate the power of computing in some cases
Having time until, like December 2016 or January 2017 I could try to make various things to brighten my Res.prjct: would it be cool maybe to make a Chess Engine or what? (smtg that needs computing) I am thinking of ideas.
This is basically what they call a "Charlie Foxtrot" (pure chaos) lol. And I'm not going to let this chaos pass by hahaha... I'm going to make a new cross-platform application to add to my research project
SO BASICALLY: Intel, AMD and NVIDIA (and whoever else appears like Mobile chip vendors) is JUMPING INTO AN ABYSS OF POSSIBLY PURE GOLD. Windows won't possibly be the default gaming platform from now on, that's the scale
There's an empty throne standing there after something better has surpassed the previous OpenGL and DirextX, and in some way also having affected OpenCL or CUDA, different, like, ways of programming to keep iot semple
Some guys developed an API called Vulkan which improves the overall performance of graphics by being more efficient at resource usage and CPU-GPU-RAM interactions that cause that latency we all hate in videogames
Some time ago I preordered a game called "OVERWATCH", which I am very excited about. It's a Balanced (yay!) 6 vs 6 team shooter with a lot of different heroes instead of weapons or classes so it's well defined for everyone.
